New decision for Bangladeshi Umrah pilgrims Saudi Arabia has introduced a new rule for those going to perform Umrah in Saudi Arabia. From now on, Umrah pilgrims from Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and Egypt will have to compulsorily deposit about 20 Saudi riyals for daily food, which will be added to the visa fee. This rule will come into effect from the first of Rabiul Awal. As a result, the accommodation, travel and food arrangements of Umrah pilgrims will be managed through an app. About 10,000 restaurants in Mecca and Medina are linked to this app. Passengers will receive a special code with their visa, which they can show to get food from specific shops or restaurants.The News Pakistan This measure has been taken to ensure good quality food for Umrah pilgrims and to eliminate irregularities. However, due to the introduction of this rule, the cost of going to perform Umrah from Bangladesh may increase slightly, so travel agencies are now working on creating new packages. বাংলাদেশি ওমরাহযাত্রীদের জন্য নতুন যে সিদ্ধান্ত নিল সৌদিসৌদি আরবে ওমরাহ করতে যাওয়া ব্যক্তিদের জন্য নতুন একটি নিয়ম চালু হয়েছে। এখন থেকে বাংলাদেশ, পাকিস্তান, ভারত ও মিশরের ওমরাহ যাত্রীদের প্রতিদিনের খাবারের জন্য প্রায় ২০ সৌদি রিয়াল করে বাধ্যতামূলকভাবে জমা দিতে হবে, যা ভিসার টাকার সঙ্গেই যোগ করা হবে। আগামী পহেলা রবিউল আউয়াল থেকে এই নিয়ম কার্যকর হবে। এর ফলে ওমরাহ যাত্রীদের থাকা, যাতায়াত এবং খাওয়ার ব্যবস্থা একটি অ্যাপের মাধ্যমে পরিচালনা করা হবে। মক্কা ও মদিনার প্রায় ১০ হাজার রেস্তোরাঁ এই অ্যাপের সঙ্গে যুক্ত থাকছে। যাত্রীরা ভিসার সঙ্গে একটি বিশেষ কোড পাবেন, যা দেখিয়ে নির্দিষ্ট দোকান বা রেস্তোরাঁ থেকে খাবার নিতে পারবেন। ওমরাহ যাত্রীদের জন্য ভালো মানের খাবার নিশ্চিত করতে এবং অনিয়ম দূর করতেই এই ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হয়েছে। তবে এই নিয়ম চালুর কারণে বাংলাদেশ থেকে ওমরাহ করতে যাওয়ার খরচ কিছুটা বাড়তে পারে, তাই ট্রাভেল এজেন্সিগুলো এখন নতুন প্যাকেজ তৈরি নিয়ে কাজ করছে। The News Pakistan সূত্র: দ্য নিউজ পাকিস্তান
